I can read the map!

We have tickets back to Beijing on the 23rd so that means over two more weeks in UB. And so I'm learning Mongolian. Hopefully I'll be able to exchange help w/ English for help w/ Mongolian. There's a 14 year old who's studying English and applying for a US visa that will stay with us for a while and some Mongolian girl whose also studying english gave me her number at a club. So far though I've only began the alphabet (same as Russian ie. cyrillic), a few numbers and directions for a cab. But I've realized (with the help of my aunt) that I was wrong on the map. On the below map I've circled Sogo (C = s the half T = g) and the city on the way to the circled dot is Ulaankhus, and the circled dot is Olgii. You can see the dot is situated one contour line higher than the Sogo river. The dot is the Soviet built school my aunt is helping organize a Kindergarten for. It's ~60 years old. I stayed with a family a couple houses away from it (or a five minute walk).
